Daily Activities

​

The following is a list of the different activities we do daily with a short description.  
 

Morning Meeting
This is a time for each student to greet one another and start the day off with a fun activity or song and talk about the schedule of the day.

Literacy Block
A time for students to learn about literacy through reading, writing, listening to stories on their own and working in a small group with a teacher.

Mathematics Block
A time to work with patterns and counting in the fall to adding and subtracting with story problems by spring! Students work on tasks individually with partners and in small groups with the teacher.

Specialist 
Students have a different specialist every day.  These classes include science, music, art and PE.

Social/Emotional Growth
This time includes lessons on working with others and time to play and practice what we learn.
